Liliana Porter
Liliana Porter, Born in Argentina, 1941. Resides in New York since 1964. She studied at the National School of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires and at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City; She was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship in 1980 and the New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in 1985.
She has exhibited individually at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York, at the Museums of Fine Arts in Caracas and Santiago de Chile, at the Museum of Modern Art in Bogotá, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Panama, at the Museum Nacional de Artes Plásticas de Montevideo, at the University of North Carolina, at the Institute of Culture of San Juan de Puerto Rico, at the Bronx Museum for the Arts in New York, at the University of Texas at Austin, at Phoenix Art Museum of Arizona, in the Juan Manuel Blanes Museum of Fine Arts in Montevideo…
