Juan Luis Moraza decided in late 1998 that a set of his sculptures would become part of the Fine Arts Museum of Alava Collection in the form of a long-term loan. With works dating back to between 1987 and 1988, this exhibition covers two series of works: Moldes para la oscuridad and Negociaciones. A third series of tubular steel works from 1989, entitled ARLMA, completed this long-term loan. The exhibition is based on this two-year period, positioning the viewer in a period that coincides with the breakup of the CVA group, formed together with María Luisa Fernández.More than two decades have passed since his decision until the organisation of this exhibition today, as it once again brings these works to light. Most of these works have not been displayed since that time, but they can now be seen on display togheter with a vast amount of accompanying material, such as drawings, diagrams, texts and various objects chosen by the author.
