Gamaliel Rodríguez

Gamaliel Rodriguez-Ayala (b. 1977 Bayamon, Puerto Rico) is a multy-disiplinary artists who focuses in the studies of social-realism and the actual events; wars, consumerism, worldwide politics, and the global environment. He is constanlty  studying  the conditions of social-realism in terms of how it affects us as individuals or as a society and how we react to these issues. His ideas are based on  the conceps of re-appropiation, re-interpretation and deconstruction of messages based on Roland Barthes and his analysis of Semiotic.
